Fitness Testing
August 2024
Welcome back to another exciting school year. We start the 2024-25 school year in Physical Education by participating in out Fitness Tests. This first round of tests is a pre-test to show the students where they are to start the year. We then create goals that we want to achieve for the end of the year and then get to work exercising and reach or goals.

5 Fitness Tests:
- PACER Test
- Push-up Test
- Sit-up Test
- Sit and Reach
- Shuttle Run

2 Ball Matball
Fall 2024
One of the first games that we played this year is 2 Ball Matball. This a fun game with a twist. In this fun game of mat ball we have two kick balls with 2 kicking lines. This means a lot of participation.

Castleball
Fall 2024
Students practiced throwing and hitting targets. This led up to students being split in teams and playing a game called Castleball. The object of this game was to knock down the other teams castle. 1 point was earned for each time a castle was knocked down while and extra 3 points were earned if both castles were knocked down at the same time.

Container Ball
Fall 2023
Next game that we participated in our Throwing and Catching Unit was a game called Container Ball. In this game students were trying to get 5 balls into the other teams containers. Team work was essential in this game.

K-2 Halloween Games
October 2024
This month of October our K-2 classes have been playing Halloween themed games. With some fun music and dimed lights the gym has been a spooky place to have fun.
​
Some of these fun game are:
- Ghosts in the Graveyard
- Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins
- Zombie Tag
- Pumpkin Patch Throw Down

Field Day 2025
TBA
Field Day wraps up the school year in May. It is a couple days of enjoyment and hard work for the kids. Parents and volunteers will be needed at that time. More info to come!
